Account eligibility and security
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Provide accurate information, keep access to your email secure, and notify Reel Fishing Society if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Fishing information is not a guarantee
ReelIQ plans, species information, weather and marine data, recommendations, and other content are informational planning aids. They do not guarantee fish, access, legal compliance, safe conditions, or successful travel. Always verify current regulations, closures, forecasts, warnings, tides, access rules, licensing requirements, and local conditions with authoritative sources.
Never use the service as a substitute for navigation equipment, emergency information, seamanship, professional instruction, or personal judgment.
Charter marketplace
Charter operators are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Reel Fishing Society. Operators are responsible for their licenses, insurance, vessels, safety practices, pricing, availability, advertising claims, customer communications, and legal compliance. Anglers are responsible for evaluating an operator and confirming all trip details before payment or departure.
Unless a future checkout feature expressly states otherwise, Reel Fishing Society is not a party to agreements or payments between anglers and charter operators.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Reel Fishing Society a nonexclusive license to host, process, display, and distribute content as needed to operate the service and honor the visibility settings you select. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
We may remove or restrict content that is unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, abusive, invasive of privacy, or inconsistent with platform standards.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt platform operation, scrape protected member information, send spam, impersonate another person or business, expose private fishing locations without permission, or use the platform to facilitate unlawful activity.
Changes, suspension, and availability
Features may change as the platform develops. We may suspend accounts or content when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, safety, or enforcement of these terms. Service availability is not guaranteed.
